Otsonny!! Another late night stream that I wasn't expecting but I'm very grateful for! I'm not used to waking up at such a reasonable time for streams... Sonny did some ranked OW2 tonight, no hopcon this time. I noticed he was a lot more chill about going into comp today than the last time he dedicated a solo stream to ranked, it was a comfy time. He spent a good amount of time talking about games and more specifically ranting about the game industry and modern monetization. Sonny ojisan... I actually really enjoyed listening to him ramble though, I love hearing what's on his mind. I do agree the microtransaction filled future of AAA games is somewhat disconcerting... indie games are definitely starting to give them a run for their money though, he mentioned pizza tower when talking about newer indie games that have been really good (like ultrakill of course) and I wonder if he'll play that when they get the perms sorted out, I remember selen talking about it too. I hope he checks it out since I've been really enjoying watching the vinesauce boys play it. He also shared some thoughts on his own game ideas, him asserting himself as more than just an "ideas guy" was kind of funny but I get it. I like his ambition... please keep dreaming big, sonny! I want to see your ideas come to life someday. Overall it was a good conversation, he's also getting somewhat better at talking and playing a more attention-heavy game at the same time. Went tank for most matches, ran into some funny players, got potg at the end, it was a good stream even if it was short. He basically said he might keep streaming a bit later for the time being depending on the weather but he'll keep us updated. I guess with most people in the branch having a fucked sleep schedule, I don't have much room to concernfag over him staying up until 3 or 4am instead of 2. No stream tomorrow since he's busy! Thanks for a comfy time taichou, hoping everything works out for the charity stream but if it doesn't then see you saturday for the noctyx collab! Sleep well! o7
