I'm too scared to try this in fear of damaging the pot somehow, not like I mind making pasta and noodles in a regular pot anyway. Rice in a pot was always a hassle so I didn't eat a lot of it before, now I have it at least twice a week.

I usually just put heavy cream for a sauce, or I use those indian sauces that come in glass jars, butter chicken, tikka masala and the like. Those go really well with rice.
