Post VILLS Clarity Edition

Welcome to VShojo+! A thread to discuss VShojo, and any vtubers frequently associated with them.

The comparison to following a group of streamers almost feeling like a TV show is one that gets made a lot, even if it can be oversimplifying things a bit. Vei kicked off the previous arc by starting Halloween in July, and it reached its conclusion on the real Halloween with a wonderful stream that brought together a huge number of people. Back then, in the earliest days of the VShojo SMP there were hints towards last night's event and when it was finally officially revealed the hype from the trio participating was off the charts. The wait was long and arduous and though the event was at an ungodly hour for those of us in Burgerland that wasn't nearly as big a deterrent as one may have expected. There were so many familiar faces in the Momenthouse chat and on Twitter talking up the event that it was a great reminder of why there's a + in the thread title. Keeping previous identities mean that the group still has strong ties to the indie community, and those same people will share their excitement for everyone else to see.

While all of that was certainly heartwarming, it wasn't the only place to get a lot of positivity. Searching the official hashtag on Twitter during the time the group was live resulted in a flood of first-impressions positivity, though it is more difficult to find now thanks to the sheer number of tweets under the tag. Many were impressed by the dancing and singing on display, with Silver in particular being a big highlight for many thanks to both her design, as well as her original song. While I'm sure she was too busy hugging her mom at the ridiculous hour to see herself it's nice to know that she unwittingly stole many hearts during her time on stage. And hey, as a bonus bit of Silver-related goodness go check out her brother's tweets last night if you want a big shot of family-related emotions.

And with the conclusion of VILLS we've got another big event in the books. And, notably, one particularly annoying rrat was slain in the process. We're coming up on the end of the year now but there's still more possible things on the horizon. Froot still has an original song that is yet to debut, Mouse has mentioned a big announcement soon, and holy shit I completely forgot that Mel announced an entire NSFW 18+ game yesterday! Zen also announced a Toys for Tots charity coming soon! These last few weeks of the year look like they're going to be packed with cool stuff, so look forward to the upcoming VShojo Christmas specials, and in the meantime, keep things comfy and civil by ignoring bait, and being excellent to each other.
