Pekora was ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE to keep her Minecraft story arc going but, with her iron form complete (or near completion) the

arc was about to end and she really needed something to keep it going.
It was around the time of this stream when she killed Lamy to protect her zombie, extorted Nene for iron and was really just provoking the girls trying to kick something going.

Had Mel taken the hint and made a fuss about the whole thing AND kept playing Minecraft back then she would be SMACK IN THE MIDDLE of what ended up being called "the PekoMoona arc".
Instead, I think she didn't show up at the server for quite some time and lost the opportunity of a lifetime and that was one of the reasons she ended up getting "left behind" by the box.
