Streams are definitely a good place to start. Watching how she interacts with her fellow members and how she exemplifies that kind wrangler sort of nature will go pretty far. Also a lot of it will come and be shown to the reader through her reactions and interactions within your story. Try to come up with situations that let's the traits you want to highlight really shine. Also try to come up with moments and events that show off how she may NOT be all those things all the time. If it fits into your story, you can include a bit where the expectation people have for her just tires her out sometimes. Sometimes SHE wants to be the one who gets to be silly self, and someone else can worry about the consequences and safety of it. Reading other people's fics that involve Mio is also a good way to go. You can get a feel for how other writers have portrayed her and see how that lines up with what you had in mind, or doesn't. Not everyone's interpretation will be the same, and it shouldn't be since they are placed in practically different worlds with different backgrounds and experiences.
