Gura is still the gateway for tourists (those outside of Hololive fans). She streamed a week before the debuts (even with her superchats turned off). To help bring in the tourists...all of HoloEN's numbers increased too. And was encouraged to stream during the debuts to keep them coming. When was the last time HoloEN had over 65k concurrent viewers? And you can see it drop noticeably on the two days she didn't stream.
You've got much to learn about how the system works. When Gura returns, so will other HoloEN's numbers increase, as shown with all her breaks.

Gura streaming with Advent raised the Holobox. .ie more total viewers watching HoloEN. Notice the two days that Gura didn't stream. We learned that Gura has a separate audience, that didn't affect each other much on overlap. Adding Gura didn't take from others, but increased the Holobox more.

Look at the days where Gura streamed, then the days where Gura wasn’t streaming. Less people overall were watching when Gura WASN’T streaming. Who the fuck did Gura “steal” away from advent? She brought her own audience out. This whole situation is obviously something management had no problem with and in fact very likely explicitly OK’ed in order to test the waters and try to build multiple simultaneous and different audiences watching multiple holos all streaming at the same time, instead of relying on the same declining audience they’ve been stuck relying on for the past year or so. JP overlaps all the time. It’s just a fact of life as holoEN continues to grow and increase the number of members. Get the fuck over it already you whiny fags

More than anything, Gura’s “overlapping” actually benefits Advent by bringing out more people to watch hololiveEN. Inevitably, other hololive streams pop up on the side in the recommendations and many Gura viewers who wouldn’t be interested to check out Advent otherwise probably clicked on some Advent girl’s stream just because Gura was streaming

Reminder that overlapping is based. Look at the data. Pic related, on days where Gura didn't stream, there were less viewers watching in total, meaning less eyes on hololive as a whole, which brings less exposure to the new gen. Gura streaming brings out more viewers. Gura should overlap more.
