in a way, all humans are the same, in that people will strive to go beyond in something they love doing.
for artists, it is art. for musicians, it is music. for writers, it is writing.
in the same way that scientists will pursue the truth of the world, even if they may not live to see it in their lifetime, takeshi does the same with sꬲχ.
that passion is what drives all humans to greatness, and what drives takeshi to become the embodiment of sꬲχ.
though his friend tries to stop him by warning him that his body can't handle it, and that he can still enjoy his passions as long as he's alive, such a passion can't be stopped.
in fact, it could be argued that stopping that passion is insulting, takeshi rejecting his friend's worries by confidently declaring that he will have sꬲχ even if he is perished.
