No, really. They're doing it again with youtube ads. If you weren't there, they did the same thing for the promotion of Lazulight, which made sense at the time since Nijisanji is relatively unknown in the west. You could also argue this as well for the NijiEN2 but I didn't find any ads of IRyS popping up in videos leading up to her debut. Then we've got what they did with the Lazulight original song and them also putting that in youtube ads to pump up the numbers. If the pattern remains the same, they'll do it for NijiEN2's original song shortly after, unless they actually learned their lesson from that backlash. I guess Nijisanji is still not as well known as Hololive since they have to still do what shitty trap music rappers and sub 10k vtubers have to do to even get noticed.
