At this day and age those cases are ridiculously super rare thanks to the new advances in medicine... Yeah it happened in the past but we came a long way.

I got to see this, sort of not exactly how you guys refer, happen once when I was still in training and this woman literally woke up mid-surgery ready to walk away. It was an emergency procedure, with little to no information and no time to waste but of all the stuff she managed to answer, barely, she was hiding the fact that she was a junkie so whatever my coworker dropped on her did pretty much nothing.
It was kinda hilarious though because she woke up half-sleep asking us about some local politician and if he was actually having an affair with an escort she knew. Then she complained about being cold, got another shot and fell asleep again.

She lived and didn't remember jack about what happened but yeah best wishes to Pomu sorry for the blogpost but you guys made remember that shit.
