otsonny!! Hey, Gordon! [Door opens] this playthrough has been a long time coming and i am pretty happy it's lived up to the hype so far. there are a number of games sonny has waited to play so he could stream them, but honestly i think there's a lot of value in vtubers replaying games too since you can offer different commentary and fuck around more... and fuck around he did, spending about as much time pushing the limits of the source engine physics as actually making progress in the game. from attempting to prop fly with every pallet he saw to spending 20 minutes building a staircase out of barrels to softlock himself, this is a stream rife with autism and at times free from worrying about trivial things like audience entertainment and i enjoyed every second. that being said, enough time has passed since his last time playing that it still feels pretty fresh and fun instead of him just going through the motions. ive said before that sonny is at his best when playing games he loves and i stand by that; oversleeping did not stop this from being a great stream that taught me a thing or two. after becoming especially well-acquainted with the airboat and gaining worldly knowledge from a vortigaunt, he paused today's adventure right as we got to the eerie town of ravenholm.
between karaoke and everything else this was a fun week back! there's two collabs we know for next week, and i suspect he'll be continuing hl2 and eastward, but the last few days are up in the air. GTA? one more stab at darkwood? haven't had a JP zatsu in a while... whatever the schedule is, i will be looking forward to it. thanks for a fun time taichou and enjoy the rest of your night! o7
