The entire ecosystem of big corpos is set up to try and keep viewers within the box.
Hololive does it by saying "the remaining members of 'x' gen will continue working hard, so please continue supporting them.". It's subtle and not really noticeable, and thus far more likely to have fans remain within the box.
People complain a lot about Sanaposting, but it means that the strategy worked. Sanalites found someone else they liked and stayed in the box, even though their first love will always be Sana.

Niji livers say the same thing by "welcoming" the fanbase that just lost their oshi to watch them instead, not even a day after they announced graduation.
Even Kyo's graduation announcement had stuff like "I feel bad for Pomudachis that are also Kyomies that I have to announce this".
This approach is far more hamfisted, and given enough audience grief, it may break the "kayfabe" that keeps them watching by exposing it as just trying to grab what little audience they can at every turn.
