Apparently, if you sire more children as Dyre the Stranger you'll start a new dynasty but your first son keeps the Cadet house Oskyldr. This leads to situations of losing your titles on succession because that son is from a different Dynasty. The solution is either to kill your first son (preferably day1 imprisonment, then move to the dunjuns and hope he dies) or divorce your wife then never have any sons. The former has you have your own Dynasty, and the former keeps you in Sigudr and thus can compete against the other sons of Ragnarr.
