MBS are known to recruit witches and not all hunters want to simply kill monsters. Some would rather study them and conduct experiments, perhaps interrogate them for information, or use them as a powerful ally in their fight against other creatures werewolves HATE vampires you know.
Hunter Organizations also aren't necessarily obligated to assist each other in killing monsters and sometimes they do come to blows over various issues. Whether it comes down to doctrine, resources, ethics, or simply ideology. Fights do sometimes happen.
It's entirely possible that MBS were looking to expand their ranks by incorporating Sigma into their compact but Chad, for some reason, turned them down and/or started poaching their recruits.
Yuul has direct access to Dr.Oopsie and whatever weird shit she's up to which makes her a valuable asset to any hunter organization that can recruit her as an informant. I'm sure Yuul is going to absolutely look forward to becoming even more popular in the coming months. :^)
