I wonder if there's actually a "merch restriction" or not, honestly.
Because they've talked about how merch is something where the talents go in on the investment and get a bigger share of the profit because of that. Makes me wonder if the level of unique merch is determined by how much income they choose to sequester for "going in" on merch later on. Because if they keep the income, but use that income as their buy-in on merch, that would be a pretty typical way to fuck around with taxes and benefit the talents and the company a little
