Oh boy. I could honestly go either way right now, getting it over with or waiting one or two weeks. The December thing was someone else's shitpost that I vaguely recall saying something along the lines of "it'd be better than placing us out already".
I'd say that doing it next week or something but alerting everyone that it will be held then would be best, as it gives people a heads up so they don't miss it or miss giving their opinion on the matter like I nearly did last time.
Oh yeah, apologies about the whole creation of stuff that might make you feel pressure to vote one way or another. I've tried to keep most of the stuff open to be moved and I've done some map prep in case we aren't placed on the island. I couldn't really stay my hand on that stuff because it's something I enjoy working on. Some things would have to be shuffled around and I'd need to get geology anons opinions again but I can roll with the punches.

Was going to say this, we're mostly looking for inspiration here on /mans/ regarding the dangers of the island. Speaking of which, we may want to consider smaller monsters too that might exist in larger quantities. Hell, maybe even some goblin equivalent (small tribal race hostile to everyone. Weak and cowardly when on their own)

Sounds cool but I'm not sure how exactly that would work? Part of why these creatures appear on the island is due to the local chuubanite. Only way I could see it work is if whatever species that became them migrated to the isles (or from morig to mans) a very long time ago, thus creating a significant divergence in evolution
