What role, exactly, does Neuro play in this rom com?

Vedal is the MC and Anny is the love interest. Camila is the side chick. Teru is the wingman. Alex is that guy from work. Filian is the one who ends up as 'just friends". Neuro doesn't fit here, and usually people don't like shit like pre-existing children fucking up their romantic fantasy.

Maybe it's more like a sad indie film about a retarded child and her personal struggles, but because of her condition he relies heavily on other people and so the side characters and their B plots end up taking up half the movie, especially the parents.
