HOOOOOLY SHIT alright, I'm listening to the song properly now. It's not about the "style" or the "kind" of song or the signers or how over or underproduced it is, it's just the instrumental is lazy. The melody and structure of the whole thing is lazy anti-hype that has no idea where it's going or what it's doing.

The first part, till around 0:49 is actually kind of decent. It's lively, the lyrics (and their flow) are well done and things build to a nice crescendo.
Right after that, we start the buildup again.
Okay, cool. The transition from Hina to Saya's parts at 1:03 for some reason brings shit back down prematurely. Weird, but fine it's just a bump to make the eventual jump hit harder right?
WRONG. For some godforsaken reason shit goes back down AGAIN in Runie's part at 1:15 leading to the most limpwristed shift to a chorus I've ever heard in my life.
Then to make matters worse, the transition to the bridge or whatever the part at 1:57 is called, which itself is utterly generic near-monotone filler.
Things thankfully recover at 2:10 with Runie and then at 2:20... what the fuck? What the fuck was that?!

Christ. Anyways the last chorus is the only really good part of the song. As though someone put a gun to his head, there's actually layers to the instruments and the girls have nice backing harmonies. THIS, by the way, should have been the default chorus, with more flourishes added where this one went but whatever.
Cue the unearned outro and the song finally, mercifully, ends.

I love Phase Connect. I love gen3 and all their singing voices, but that shit was ASS. That shit was the auditory equivalent of crippling sleep-paralysis.

Everything I mentioned there literally happened daily, right up until the very day the split. I don't know how basic and fundamental I'm going to need to get to explain to you the concept of time but I'll try for your sake:

pre-[event] means before an event. It does not necessarily mean 6 months before. It doesn't necessarily mean a year before. It just means "before".
I'm focusing on your quoting of 'brapshit' because I find it hard to fathom how high you have to be to think that the lines above even mean anything in the context of which you used them.
