Since we're menhera posting, I want to apologize for dooming about DOOM. Am just anxiety-prone and shy rabbit.
With some time having passed, I've gotten a more coherent retrospect about how I felt and it's partially a cultural thing. In many places in the west or west-equivalent, it's pretty common to make pleasantries like "oh we should go there sometimes" or "we should do this again sometimes" but from where I'm from and from my upbringing, promises are a bit more strict and binding - they really are treated as obligations and promises. I felt pretty dejected when Kiki forgot the Doom project but remember every other champy project she'd maybe get involved in.

My wife do be dooming sometimes.

Yes it's the same for Doom 2. Just drag and drop the doom2.wad onto GZDoom and it'll open a prompt which Doom format to open it as and select Doom 2.
