Actively shitting on hololive fans for being too attached, for promoting "le idol culture" and wanting girls like Kanata to graduate.

They do not want ANY sort of negativity to come to their "community" which is why anyone speaking ill of the company is instantly turned on, and why people that leave their precious "community" are instantly exiled as "outsiders".
It's all a shallow effort to find a place of belonging, not that dissimilar to what holofans do, but the way they do it is just so perverted because of Nijisanji treating their livers as gacha characters - the fans mirror the oshi after all.

I think it's just that Yagoo failed in his ambition.
His original goal in hiring holostars was to show the world that virtual male idols could succeed just as much as the female ones.

JP mostly sticks to this program, but the EN side just seems to have completely thrown the entire concept of "idols" out the window.
They and their fans do not care one whit about "idol culture" or 推し活 in general.
They treat themselves as streamers, hence dumb and dumber getting Live2D reworks and Tempus 3D not even being in the pipeline as of now.

NONE of them want to sing or dance on stage, they just want to stream themselves playing games to a few people from home, get some cash, and dip when the going gets tough.
And so their fans reflect that behavior.
