the revised hepburn changed it to match the japanese spellings
more over, most of JP holos use the kunrei-shiki romanization that were taught in schools instead of the hepburn system that foreign people use
like how Suisei use Sui-tyan for her nickname instead of Sui-chan
so either way of spelling is fine, nobody would mistake it for anything else
