You can also get fried beer, fried coca-cola and deep fried butter. The principle is simple: the frozen beer/coke/butter cube gets encased in a dough pocket before being fried, during which the frozen liquid melts. There are also version that just kind of soak a pretzel dough in the beer/coke liquid before frying. Truthfully, though, those are seen as joke/novelties that you only get at a carnival or the State Fair. Nobody eats that on the reg.
