But in actuality, look at what does well and what's easy to actually "do." Yeah a "30 feet tall futa nigger elf with 4 pair of tits, buck teeth, a pair of fighter jet wings, blue balls, heterochromia, 6 hons, anorexic alien" is a thing, but you're still going to be stuck in the corner of a screen and banned within 5 Minutes on any platform. Those hoodie wearing people get by because it's easy to pull off and people can immediately say "that's a catgirl/demon/shark/guy in a hoodie" and flick it on without question.

Look at some of the people /here/ and then look at the "popular" ones. People gravitate to things they know, this isn't rocket science, and the people who "want" to be popular make what attracts the most amount of people.
It's a vicious little cycle, isn't it? Being creative or breaking the molds are reserved for people who can either afford it, or have something to back it up.
