Finally got the polka dream!
It was shit. Started out with me going on a date with her, but she was uninterested. I had walked her home, but she was so detached, hollow. A little time skip happened, I pass by her apartment, and she was getting fucked by someone else. I didn't see anything, just heard as I was gonna knock on the door. A time skip sorta happened again, because I'm back home, and my father is there just berating me on how shit of a son I am. Listing all the little fuckups I've had in life. We start yelling, I pushed him away from me, but he hit his head on a corner of a wall. I run over to help him, he's staring at me with a pool of blood from his head. He's not saying anything, just staring. I start weeping. I grabbed his hand, noticed it's limp, then I wake up.
non dream related but I think I know why this happened. My dad started to praise me yesterday, seeing me at work. Then my boss called me at the end of my shift, said I was doing great this week, and thanked me. I guess my imposter syndrome flared up.
