You don't have to make a special play to buy/sell for Dividends if you're already invested in Friend. There is value in not having to do anything to get your Divvies, which while not efficient are still quite large, which you can instantly reinvest into Friend, who will almost always go up and never go down enough to be a bagholding risk.
