Well sure, maybe. There's no absolute guarantee for anything but those are good steps to being healthier and more attractive. It would definitely be good for someone who Goslings to do these things as well, to help distance themselves and get grounded. Self investment is always a good step.
I think a better path is to find how to be happy alone, at least, for me it's better.
For a long time I thought I was happy alone, but then I went through my Gosling phase and it was obvious I very clearly wasn't. Still, that led me to find friends and make genuine connections with people, and gave me a deeper understanding of myself and others, and I am a little closer to being happy and alone, but I also see now that I don't have to be.
