What design choices of yours do people dislike? The execution doesn't matter as much as the idea, either power through your art being shit until it isn't as shit or play to your strengths instead. My gut tells me that you have an interest in photography? Maybe cut out a little picture of the chuuba and pose it outside somewhere and take a picture
