your networth is inherently tied to coin value at [current time]. You will need to provide another interface entirely for the player to select which coins to pay if you want to have a flow "I want to prestige -> game detects not enough liquid but enables you to spend coins -> player SELECTS the coins", it can under NO circumstance just be random coins or you would fuck over long-term investments willy-nilly.
Cypher wouldn't be worth 1B without coin value being this high, and there is no objective coin value, only stats and a vague formula we MUST not know in order to make the game a game and not another "follow the wiki to win" experience.

that was still about how to pay the X amount of money. If you actually prestige away your whole wallet as well, that also means you best do it at low market prices OR even better, sell off all your coins at HIGH market prices beforehand so you are not bound to current market prices in order to pay said price. If you slap a pricetag on it, that implicitly suggests there will be something left to take with you, effectively mooting the "new player experience" you want to provide - other way around if all you need is hit a threshold (like I think you mean the whole time) and then spend literally EVERYTHING to get this, it better be fancy.

basically you're collecting stars or levels here. Unless they bring inherent benefits besides not losing your leaderboard position to the next player, you would undo all your previous efforts but also rank up to the last place of that Tier. So the implication would be immediately do it when you hit the threshold - this would lead to players demanding the oshiboard coin count to be seperate from this, I say this with confidence because I spent 4 months building this shit up and I personally would demand it, I'm sure there's others.
