Also, I've heard that actually, one of the tricks of the YT algos is that if they all play the same thing at once, that gives an algorithmic boost for all of them. This would explain a lot really about why they try to stick to certain things by default (apex/MC etc) and when they get into some random ass thing like Fall Guys or Undertale they all go into it together.
