So now that the dust was settled, what the fuck was GPTodd? Really.
I remember when he first started posting his proxy he said it was an Anthropic model so people thought it was Claude, but now that we have tasted the claudisms it's obvious that it wasn't. But I also remember it didn't have GPT-4isms like the whole BONDS thing, and it also had 8k context and was clearly too smart to be Turbo.
But at the same time he was also constantly saying that it was an "experiment" which led people to think that he was a NovelAI dev either testing a new model or using someone else's to train their own. But then in the end he put some IP block on his proxy and made it exclusive for Eastern Europe from what I remember, which seemed too nonsensical for someone who should be trying to collect data. Some people also said he started asking for dick pics like the ecker guy, but I don't know if that was true.
Could it be that it was really GPT-4 but he had some kind of 'prebaked' Logit Bias to prevent the BONDS shit? Is it even possible to do that with a proxy?
