I was curious and had time, so I decided to check and see what 2023's EN tally points would look like if the bots were accounted for.
DISCLAIMER: my methodology was literally just
>look for the known bot patterns (wave crashes, the roller coaster growth, in ten minute patterns)
>if the botwave crashes: adjust the stream to be at the nearest 1k mark that it likely hit when considering the size of the waves
>if it doesn't crash: take into account what the pre-botted peak was and go with that unless there was a clearly notable reason for growth to take into account [pretty much only had to use that clause for Selen's tourney because we know the views went up during that Holoteasing even if it was being botted]
>if it doesn't crash AND it's short enough to not get a good tell (the FWMC Morning Clause): Just baseline it at 10k for maximum benefit of the doubt
This is what I got out of that exercise. I think the most interesting thing that I realized via this shit was:
>after spending thousands, maybe tens of thousands, the botfaggotry changed almost nothing vis-a-vis the eventual point outcome
So if it were just left to run without the dude spending himself into debt, he would've basically gotten the same outcome as he would've by doing literally nothing.
