The Emperor is the figurehead of the state and religion, right? In other words, he is the main symbol of the nation.
Let's go back a bit in time to understand the spiritual implications of this. In Hinduism, there is the notion of Cakravartin, meaning "Wheel-turning King". In summary, it implies the idea of a main symbol, or universal ruler, of all things. According to Evola, that means:
