I hope you guys all realize this is because they were making it up to Gen 5.
Compare this to Gen 4, who only got their first alt outfits a full year in, no group song that's original, etc etc. Gen 5 only got so much because it's the equivalent of a father giving their child extra love and attention and gifts after they lose a fucking arm to a freak accident.
