Kek, I believe you but it's still pretty funny. My brother has a slow cooker and has complimented it a lot to me, saying how easy it is to use and how good the meat comes out.

I know the meme stereotype is that americans love to do this, but honestly I've never met anyone irl or online before that actually does it. And yeah the convenience in it is why I want to try it, I like bacon but making it is a bit of a hassle for not a lot of food.

Oh yeah that too, I wouldn't put anything actually raw to cook in the microwave, but I just meant that since bacon is thin, it'll cook through more easily unlike something like a steak that would take a while to cook.

Sometimes yeah, there are some products where the more expensive option is marginally better than the cheaper one, so I rarely get it because it's not a big difference. In general though I just want to enjoy my meals as much as possible so I try to get the tasty stuff. Sometimes the cheaper option just tastes so bland or straight up bad that it's a waste of money. Sadly food is quite expensive here too, and keeps getting more expensive constantly, so it's not always easy budgeting.
