The musical wasn't even the worst part of it (though that part of the movie was also kind of shit, not even musicalfag love it), it's that they're keen to "show Joker for what he really is, not some cool icon, but just a sad, pathetic little man", but delivering it in the worst way possible. Raping Joker out of Arthur is certainly a choice, but that being the catalyst, instead of Harley, or even his midget friend, is just dumb as shit.

Also doesn't help that a big portion of the movie is just boring courtroom drama
