The fact that so many anons still name Gawr Gura as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" vtuber ever only tells you how far vtubing still is from becoming a serious art. Anime critics have long recognized that the greatest anime of all times are Ping Pong and Cowboy Bebop, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Manga critics rank the highly controversial Berserk over shounen who were highly popular around Japan. Vtuber critics are still blinded by commercial success. Gawr Gura made more money than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore she must have been the greatest. Anime critics grow up watching a lot of anime of the past, manga critics grow up reading a lot of manga of the past. Vtuber critics are often totally ignorant of the vtubers of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that Gura did anything worthy of being saved.

I never got feedback on my Lamy story so i didn't really know what my level was. Seeing all the good stories here got me down a bit but it seems like a simple compliment goes a long way down. Blogpost time, I'm ESL and I've managed to get C2 academic level fluency on an official English proficiency exam (112/120 TOEFL) , but I've never had anyone directly judge me for my English. Not my family nor friends nor strangers, so even though the score said otherwise, i am insecure about my skills. I'll keep at it, i suppose. Maybe after i put these out and i still get no feedback, i just wasn't cut out for writing, and that's fine, im an art anon anyway. I was attempting to become a writeanon but after seeing the writing these people have, i find it hard to believe my writing can be considered erotic or good. I can write like two lines about how someone is getting fucked in the ass, and it isn't even close to the same quality. I know comparing is very bad for yourself,but unlike in the world of drawing,i can't seem to incorporate what i see into my writing,so i don't get motivated when i see someone really good. Honestly i gotta say, as an art anon, when i came to writing i never expected that people here charged so much money for it.
