Who knows what the actual reason is, but while AnyColor's revenue grew YoY in Q2, it actually fell really behind in terms of projected growth. For FY2024/4, AnyColor projects total revenue to be 33,000MM yen. This is about a 30% increase. As the picture shows, Q1, grew 50.9% YoY, which is pretty amazing. However, Q2 only grew by 8.2%. Further if you compare total revenue as of Q2, FY2023/4 was 47.2% and FY2023/4 was 46.9%. Pretty much in line. Do note there is an "other revenues" category.
>Where the tragedy lies.
Even if AnyColor sees absolute YoY growth in Q3 and Q4, average relative growth for these quarters needs to be at least 31%.
>33,000-8,948-6,540=17,512.00.
That's how much the final quarters need to earn for AnyColor to meet its projected total revenue.
>7,434+5,934=13,368.00
That's how much AnyColor earned FY2023/4 Q3 and Q4.
>(17,512-13,368)/13,368 = 31.0%
So it's not enough to see revenues increase, Q3 and Q4 need to see their average revenue increase by at least 31%. The question for shareholders is whether Q3 and Q4 are going to see revenue growth similar to Q1 or Q2?
