If we revise the origin of the country a bit and have the synthesis be pretty far from the founding (at least 80 years or plus) then maybe? Since I don't know how to incorporate the Norse element from the recent streams. Like a group left the North West down south over population pressure/ political instability etc. Which then mixed with the local culture. Though I'm not sure if the language would still be a creole since so many years have passed.
