Anyways, there is one thought I had about the shapeshifting concept (which I really enjoy, btw!) because I know that you referenced that many Kindred try to emulate Vox's appearance through shapeshifting in the Luxiem overview. One thing I was thinking about was a sort of fringe idea amongst some Kindred that this is a form of blasphemy, and that emulating Vox should be discouraged because he's divine and trying to copy him or, even worse, pretend like you're as good as he is is a really egregious offense. I wonder if there would be some kind of ideological rift between those who view it as a form of flattery and those who view it as a form of blasphemy. One idea I've always enjoyed with worldbuilding groups (I play tons of text RPGs with my friends) of people etc is disjunction and how things may not always be as uniform as they seem. Basically like infighting in groups about the "right" way to honor and worship Vox, with some seeing imitation as the highest form of flattery and some seeing it as a cheap way to pretend like you're more important or special than you are and that nobody deserves to be Vox except, well, Vox.
