this is the exact feeling I have for non Pokemongames. The Pokemon world feels like it was created to accommodate the monsters living inside of it, not the other way around. It literally feels like you're stepping into another world when you play or watch Pokemon and you wish that the creatures you were looking at were real. I think that's why its captivated people for so long.
