I guess I align more with Mafu, since I've been watching/listening since before vtubers were even a thing and I've never watched a Rushia stream in my life. He actually is catching flack for this, but maybe whatever circles you look in aren't portraying that because only the ones on the absolute end of their rope are going crazy in the comments (on burner accounts). Girls were being called by dramafags, you've all probably seen that clip but it's happened 2 other times as well, in a Twitter space. You know that Mercari screenshot of people selling their Rushia merch? It's the same situation for Mafu. On the converse side are his EN fans spreading PSAs to not meddle in people's personal lives, shitting on idol vtuber fans, and some tweets congratulating the relationship. There's the Mafu yumejos who idolize him, and the Mafu fujos who turn into rabid beasts any time a woman gets between Mafumafu x Soraru. Soraru has also had his own drama with female utaite Lon that ended with her disappearing from singing work. Ever since all of that, Mafu has made sure to not mention being friends with women, which got more drama pointed towards him when he began to mention Ado.
And then, are the fringe onlooker fans who are laughing at it all (yes JP and EN women find it funny too). The thing is, this isn't the first, second, third, or 10th time he's been caught in enjou. This isn't his biggest one either. He doesn't have the strongest mental constitution but it won't end his career. He's just too big for that. He'll come back.
But like his other past dramas, it's kind of telling that the previous accusation of m*chan and him having matching furniture never was joked about by him. Meanwhile all his other drama like having his music stolen and almost ending his career/making him suicidal, being paranoid after stalking incidents, and being called a pedophile by Koreans who got mad he said he's a lolicon, is all joked about by him.
Could it be because joking about it would have just sent antis to her? Definitely, but I do find it interesting. Food for thought...
