This one tweet basically tells the whole story.
Millie's getting some pushback due to her "let's imitate 4chan" stream, and what's the FIRST fucking thing that comes to mind?
Pushing the blame on the others that were with her.
Also NijiEN TALK a lot about the "family" environment, but it's quite obvious that a lot of them aren't really "cool" with each other (e.g. Selen, Pomu being separated from the main clique).
In Holo, the talents acknowledge the fact that they can't be friends with all of them, but at least try to remain cordial with each other. And their fanbases respond in kind.
JP takes it a level further because they have the offcollab option and so the chemistry between all the girl groups comes out naturally, forming little cliques of their own (Ayame + Marine and her group, Sankisei, SMOK, Gamers etc.).
The difference is, there's at least one girl who's simultaneously a member of multiple of these groups (FBK, Marine, Botan etc.) which makes it so much easier for them to all connect with each other and form a coherent whole.
