Update:
>4 hours 30 minutes later we are now at 31 views
I'm not sure what to make of this.

The delay could be cause by some sort of "cold storage" mechanic, and the increase could be faster, up to real time on videos that are considered "live" i.e. recent uploads.
But then it's only 3 extra views not 15 or 30 which I could make sense of.
>did /here/ detectives try to find the vid from the thumbnail and ended up increasing the view count?
You guys tell me.

>What happens you test it with normal speed?
Not sure, trying to figure it out but there are so many variables to consider.

The reason I'm doing this at all is because I have been looping a recent Tsun cover (at normal speed) just because I really love it and see

>I think it doesn't count your own views on your own video
I would assume so, I would assume a view to be a per IP/UID per day or maybe a per hour at best type thing but YouTube doesn't really want to say in details what counts as to not encourage people to exploit the system.

I did my test on a video some random person uploaded 2 years, in an incognito browser window to remove variables.
If the goal is to "confuse" the server testing on my own might never have the same effect as 30 machines streaming the same video on 0.5x from a single internet café, K-Pop stans style.
