I do wonder what gaining her trust, abusing her terribly and making her fear you, slowly gaining it back, just to do something even worse to her would do to her. Would she break completely? Would she become an empty husk? Would she snap one day and try to kill you or herself? Would she just accept her fate and desperately do everything you say like a good girl, to try and make you go easier on her next time it happens?
