I think it picks mostly tags that would make sense a bit together, without reusing your initial tags, but I haven't used it in the context of forge yet, just on huggingface where I have to add the general tags myself.
The fun part is if danbooru knows the character, like 'ceres fauna' and it is used as a cahracter tag isntead, it automatically grabs supporting tags for that character like hair color and eye color.
>Character tags: 'ceres fauna'
>General tags: '1girl'
becomes:
>1girl, apron, basket, blue dress, braid, breasts, buttons, dress, flower, green hair, hair between eyes, hair flower, hair ornament, large breasts, looking at viewer, maid, maid apron, maid headdress, mole, mole under eye, short sleeves, single braid, solo, yellow eyes
