i'm not that far in but I can definitely already say it's better if you know the original. It differs ever so slightly, the jumpcuts are already there in playthrough one some times, keeping you on edge, and it's surprisingly self-aware. They even made a joke about mon-ika being shitty to translate in JP and EN.
So far exactly NOTHING in the data folder, run 1 might be just a teaser. But Monika defenitely has something up her sleeve for this one. Which pleases me because Monika is best girl.
