People are into vtubers for the escapism, or many are at least. People like watching cute girls doing cute things, a male takes you out of that.

cuckposting aside, there simply isn't much of a good reason to mingle between genders. Any collab where there were mixed girls/guys would have been better if it was all girls. This goes both ways - if you're a fan of homos the collab would be better if it was all guys
