>CCV
Can be botted
>Subscribers
Mostly deadsubs or boosted because of the company, not at all a metric of success/quality
>Peak viewers
Also just a product of botting
>Merch sales
Companies are in charge of reporting sales, probably can just inflate sales in order to launder money
>Live events/Conventions
Wherever it's held will just be a concentrated location that the analyitics department assessed the highest density of viewership, and most likely just represents <1% of the viewerbase

The only real measurable metric of a Vtubers popularity and ultimately, quality is the average superchat divided by average CCV. In other words,
| The Average Money Superchatted per Viewer |

I have no company, nor any personal preference to reveal. I have not done the data to calculate who would be the most impressive in this regard. But it would end once and for all the discussion of who is the best Vtuber. And don't give me that shit of "You don't need to feel obligated to donate, it has nothing to do with it". Maybe for you, but when your sample size is more than 10,000 people per stream, no one gives a shit that you dont donate. No more company wars, only numbers. Face to /#/shed

>What's wrong with that
hearing an echo constantly gets annoying.
Its the same reason I stopped watching pikamee too. Maybe for EOPs/JOPs its bearable, but as a superior life form which has mastered not only the English language, the hardest of the spoken languages with the most complex grammar of all living languages, but who has also mastered not only N1 level Japanese vocabulary but also N1 level Japanese Kanji in order to understand vtuber humor at the native level, I find it redundant to hear every sentence repeated twice for literally everything she has to say.

vtubing was a corporate product from day one, there's no point where it was an insular "hobby" ruined by normalfags so the meme comic doesn't even apply

Hell no, man. Social Blade is always fucking wrong on predicting sub counts on vtubers. In the best case scenario, she gets 3M at the end of this month.

Alas, the first vtuber Kizuna AI will be now be beaten. It was thought to be impossible a year ago. And now, it became a reality.

>”Unless it’s like, um, someone whose really really helped out your boy in the past before, um, like, musically, or like a good friend...”
I’m not apologizing because nothing changed. Mori went from only doing freelance for friends to reiterating that exact same thing but dressing it up like it’s something different. The people who said she’d drop it, “byebye forever”, were wrong and Mori confirmed that.
