Having concern for Shiori's wellbeing is only as effective as my concern for the homeless men down the the street. Shiori is an adult who should absolutely take care of herself and seek out help as needed. I wish her all the best with her new job, and I currently find her very entertaining to continue watching in the foreseeable future.

>You hold her hand and start walking around town
>She sighs at you a little "Work's been pretty frustrating anon, I'm not getting anywhere with my new game."

>She looks at you, a little dejected then puts on her usual smile and says "Mmm, just a childhood dream I used to have, maybe I'll tell you more after that ice cream."
>You arrive at the ice cream parlour
>It's almost closing time, so it's empty
>She looks like a child in a toy store, different assorted flavours all around for her to choose from
>She picks out 3 of her favourites and has them stacked up on-top of each other
>You're worried it'll fall apart, but she's surprisingly good at balancing them out
>She then begins happily eating away at it
>You've never seen her so excited over something as mundane as ice cream
>Turns out this ice cream parlour has a good reputation, and she was excited to try it with you for a while
>Minutes pass by, her ice cream already gone
>You wonder how she managed to do that, but you don't question it too much, she's really cute
>You notice a bit of ice cream on her cheek and you scoop it up with your finger tip
>Before you can put it in your mouth, she cups her lips around your finger and makes a playful "Nom!" sound
>Your cheeks feel a tinge of red, you're caught off guard completely by this cute act
>She smiles playfully then runs a little ahead of you before doing a slight spin and facing you
>"Anon, when I was a child growing up, I always wanted to be a princess."
>You thought to yourself then replied "A princess?"
>"That's right! And now that I've thought about it a bit more, you could totally be my knight!"

>She looks around playfully, then takes out a sword that she once used for a cosplay
>"Now, kneel, my knight, allow me to witness you swear your oath to me."
>Compelled by a sense of duty, you kneel before her, this may be a roleplay, it may be a little cringe, but it's something she wants, so you may as well play along
>She rests the toy sword on your shoulder, making you repeat made up words
>"Do you swear to protect me? To look after me? To uphold your loyalty to me until the very end?"
>You smile a little, but then you respond with a simple "I swear"
>She smiles as well, and then whispers in your ear "Congratulations, you are now officially my knight, forever."
>With that, she gently kisses your cheek.

>She opens one and starts eating it non-chalantly
>The dread starts to set in
>All of them are expired, every last one
>You sigh heavily at her then you tell her
>"Shiori..You're eating expired food again."

>"Wh-What? Noooo anon, it's okay! it's only..a week old! It's fine!"

>She also knows exactly how you'll react to it by now

>At the grocery store she's like a kid
>Throwing groceries onto your shopping cart, some you don't even think are necessary
>It's fine though, you have a decent pay so you can afford the tonne of groceries she insists are "important!"
>You pay for all the groceries and head home with her
>On the way home she starts a tangent on some new recipe she read about, wanting you to make it for her
>You listen in while driving, trying your hardest to focus on driving, but the combination of your former tiredness coming back, and her tangents being too interesting to simply use as background noise, make it difficult
>You make it home and unload the groceries into the pantry, refrigerator, and some to be frozen
>You start cooking the meal she talked about based on the recipe, she googled it for you and gave it to you
>Finally, you witness her having a decent meal for once and you feel content
>You can see her smiling as she's eating, she caught you hook line and sinker, but you don't seem to mind, you did it for her afterall.
>The next morning, just before you head off to work
>You witness it once again
>Sheer terror fills your gaze
>She's pouring expired milk into her cereal
>She gets ready to eat the first spoonful
>You stop her, sigh and then say
>"I'm going to be late for work but I can't just leave you here like this.."
>And so another day begins
>And Shiori smiles gently, knowing that you would catch her, knowing you would stop her, and knowing you would cook again for her.
