And I'm back to cap the day off, gotten surprisingly little done despite having all day but it's been a hectic one.
Warning, picrel is very yabai

>Maybe I'll try it, we'll see. My rice cooker has a function for steaming vegetables at least, so I do want to test that out eventually.
Sounds nice, I got a pressure cooker that can do the same and I shit you not, the steamer function makes the best ham chops.
Yes, I genuinely mean that it makes good steamed hams, this is not a joke.
>Oh yeah I wasn't implying it's a health risk or anything, just such an unconventional way of preparing it
You'd be suprised how many people at least in my experience do it but just never bring it up. and it's a good way to save yourself the time and effort of whipping out a pan and cleaning it again.
>and cooking meat in microwave in general seems sussy to me. Bacon is so thin though that I'm not particularly worried about it ending up raw.
Yeah anything that isn't precooked or pre-smoked you should stay away from, it's not about the thickness of it it's more that bacon is already edible beforehand so you don't run the risk. Anything truly raw and not smoked is bad juju.
>Reminds me of my friend who told me he sometimes eats raw chicken
Now that's a different kind of risky, damn.
>True, but they taste good so I don't mind the extra cost, for most things this is how I operate.
I generally try to operate with the same mindset, but I always mentally compare the price difference with the taste difference. I also live in a place where food items are very expensive in general so buying the cheaper ones is the difference between "this is 10% of my 2-day food budget" and "this is 80% of my 2-day food budget" so it makes a big difference in the grand scheme.
