hey guys did you know the karin futo is based on the ae86 corolla platform? now most of you might know that car from initial d but they also included the karin sultan which was actually based on the toyota altezza. now the altezza was a very interesting car since it basically had a twin sister from lexus, which if you know is just the luxury sub-brand of toyota, called the IS series. now the IS200 and IS300 were both decent cars, with the IS300 even coming with the naturaly aspirated version of the 2jz which is a VERY popular and well known engine. but back to the altezza! so the altezza came with the 3sge engine which is a very impressive turbocharged 4cyl engine and fun fact they actually used this engine in a supra chassis to win a super gt series in japan
